I think it's pretty easy to guess that we were gonna battle Toriel by the end of chapter 1, so hopefully this isn't TOO spoilery. I went back and forth several times on how I wanted this theme to feel. Earlier versions felt more imposing and threatening, but I eventually decided that I wanted a more energetic air for this first boss battle. Oh, and there's a brand new leitmotif emphasized in this theme... I can't reveal what it represents yet, but you'll be hearing it in several other boss themes ;)
