However, he has a very steady and even temperament, which makes him a surprisingly reliable mount. He and Serenity are very bonded, because Serenity first rescued him when he was a tiny foal. She halter broke him, worked with him on the ground for almost four years, started him under saddle, and has even entered some shows on him. Although Wilder has shown some great promise under saddle, it's on the ground where he really shines. After doing exclusively groundwork for the first four years of his life, he's a pro and has entered (and won!) multiple in-hand shows. Personality + Status: Wilder is one chill, laid back guy. He is super trainable, although he's not always the best at paying attention. He's kind of a happy go lucky guy who trots through life at his own pace - nothing phases him, everything is something to be curious about. He prefers people to horses, and is especially bonded to his owner Serenity Blue. This is because she rescued him when he was a tiny foal, before he was even weaned. He had been separated from his dam at a k!ll pen and was starving and alone - but luckily Serenity found him. She set him up with her mare Pinecone, as a surrogate, and once weaned she started training him up to be the wonderful horse that he is.
