Vulcan’s expression had never looked this blank before… his grin was there as usual but… the grin obviously wasn’t genuine. He was on his knees, trembling. Magma tilted his head up, “You are aware I’m the only one you should listen to, yes?” Vulcan stayed silent, just nodded. Magma smirked, “Good…we don’t need so many… distractions. Like that purple planet.” Vulcan looked frustrated, “She has a name-” Magma cut him off, “DO NOT TALK BACK TO ME.” Vulcan shrunk down just a little. “You can be so much more if you just LISTENED. But you’re so stubborn. That king title of yours doesn’t suit you much now does it? Not while you’re like this.” Vulcan froze as Magma said firmly, “You’re weak, Vulcan. Can’t you see?” That broke something in him, Vulcan’s eyes lost all spark, as if he gave up. “Good…” Magma murmured, snickering. Suddenly, Magma swiped his claw through the threads holding Vulcan’s grin up, the moment that threads broke, Vulcan’s grin immediately sank. A complete blank stare. As if the smile had been fake the whole time... because it was. Before Vulcan could fade, the same pink as Magma was spread onto half of Vulcan’s body, seeping through like an infection. “You’re not in charge, Vulcan.” Magma said with an almost delighted laugh, “You never were.”
Yeah, Vulcan doesn't smile anymore, tehe :internal_screaming: :> "What's the point in it anyway. It doesn't change a thing."
