Their range are shorter while not necessarily being any less dug into the coastline. Heavy coastal fortifications are, as the name suggests, far more heavily gunned. Sprawling concrete behemoths with the sole purpose of holding the coast from any sort of threat. Massive naval guns as large as 345mm.
