Also, please do not add any furries / therians to your part. I totally support both of them and have nothing against them, but they can receive quite a lot of hate, and I don’t want any hate brought into this project! Drawings cats / dogs / etc is fine though hehe IMPORTANT NOTE 2: There may be things similar to this called something else other than a ‘comic event’, but I came up with this all by myself anyways, so please don’t accuse me of stealing the idea or anything- also, if you want to host something similar please credit me the idea >:D Hiya everyone, welcome back to another project! So, let’s get straight to the point - I’m hosting a comic event in celebration of Earth Day 2025! Earth Day is celebrated each year on the 22nd of April, and since the 22nd of April is getting close I said… “why not do something for Earth Day 2025?”. But… what exactly IS a comic event? Well, keep on reading to find out! ~ What Is This Event? ~ This is something I like to call a comic event! It’s a fun, collaborative project where multiple artists come together to create a comic based on a shared theme. There’s a twist to this one though - you must be done in 3 days or less because we want to get this done in time for Earth Day 2025 :] I actually made up the term comic event myself, so you probably won’t find anything exactly like it on Scratch! So… what’s the theme for this comic event? Well… it’s Earth Day 2025 >:D Here’s how it works: Once you're accepted as a participant (you can sign up to be a participant by filling out the form below in the comments), you’ll get to claim a page of the comic. Each page comes with a unique sentence or short paragraph that ties into the Earth Day 2025 theme. Your job is to draw a comic page inspired by that sentence or paragraph - and include the text on the page you create. (For example, if I claimed a page that had the sentence “Earth Day 2025 falls on the 22nd of April every year” then I could draw a picture of the Earth, and then the text ‘22nd of April’ inside it, as that’s related to the sentence!) When all the pages are done, I’ll put everything together into one big comic book - our very own Earth Day 2025 collaboration, made by a whole team of awesome artists! If you’re still a bit confused feel free to ask me any questions about it! :D ~ Rules ~ ➢ Pages are due 3 days after receiving your page ➢ Whatever you decide to draw MUST be related to the sentence / paragraph that came with your page ➢ No AI, art stealing, recolouring, bases, etc ➢ The sentence / paragraph you were given must be included somewhere in the drawing (for example, there could be a little rectangle at the top that has the text in it, or if there’s a character in your drawing you could add a speech bubble beside the character and put it there) ➢ No bl00d, gore, anything inappropriate, etc. This is supposed to be a happy comic >:0 ➢ You’re allowed to include OCs in the drawing for your page if ya want, but you can only include characters created by you (unless you want to add, like, an animal of nature, like a fox or hedgehog, to your drawing. Then it’s alright :3) ➢ If I don’t reply to your form in 1-3 days it’s a polite no ➢ You must be an artist to join! (Ya don’t have to be famous or brilliant at art or anything like that though ;D) ➢ All art on the page must be 100% by you, unless you’re doing a collab with someone ➢ 1 page per artist ➢ If you’d like to collab with someone then both of you must draw something on it. For example, one person can’t just draw everything and the other person colours it in <33 ➢ No making fun of / shaming / etc people’s art. ➢ Have fun! >:D ~ Extra Stuff ~ ➢ You do not need to ask to do a TNE :] but if you’re doing one please make it related to Earth Day, make it your own art, and have the words ‘A Day For Our Planet’ and ‘A Comic Book Made By Multiple Amazing Artists In Celebration Of Earth Day 2025’ (yep, I know, a lot of text-) ➢ If you aren’t done on time you will unfortunately be dropped.
