Current GWDFI rant

I am appalled at the current situation. I am absolutely disgusted. What happened chat? I may not be a manager, but my lord am I disappointed. What happened to GWDFI? How are timeouts happening every day? Is it THAT hard to follow the dang rules? Obviously, mistakes happen, and that's OK. But this has been REPEATED, and REPEATED, and REPEATED. I get that people can forget things, but I feel like everyone has a VAGUE idea of what and what NOT to say here? Have some common sense??? The rules are simple: ~ Use TW's for the things written in the rules (stuff. that triggers people, e.g: Bl00d, violence, eating disorders, etc) as a warning. ~ No swearing and inappropriate things should be said. ~ Game codes should NOT be posted. ~ Youtube links MUST be converted to Scratch ~ No discussions of heavily inappropriate shows (I believe it is either 16+ or 18+?) ~ No spreading drama, sending links TO drama, etc. ~ No discussions of politics. ~ And BE KIND and respectful. ~ No interacting with any trolls or spammers and no mentioning them. Those are the ones in the studio rules, then we have the rather simple REPORT WHEN A RULE IS BROKEN. It's simple chat, SERIOUSLY. Just tell the host WHAT rule was broken. Is ANY of that hard? I don't think so? Those rules are PERFECTLY reasonable and are not WHATSOEVER vague. Even an 8 year old could follow that. I get that some people are bad at identifying trolls, I myself am not great at it, and mistakes happen. But in my opinion, the WORSE type of rule-breaking is that cursed INTENTIONAL rule breaking. Guys, some people need to realize that breaking rules does NOT make you in ANY WAY 'cool'. That makes you extremely 'uncool' to basically everyone who has good morals. Also, I'd like to say, I am absolutely DISGUSTED by the harassment some managers have received. From what I've witnessed though, it has luckily dialed down a bit. But still, chat, you guys KNOW that the managers are JUST teenagers. As Glass said, they're not omnipotent beings? Do you not feel at least a DROP of remorse when you do something that makes their jobs harder and more stressful? They have reminded us DOZENS of times that they are JUST teenagers with actual LIVES outside of Scratch. For goodness sake guys? How would YOU feel if YOU were the managers? Me personally, I'd be absolutely infuriated and stressed. I am disappointed, truly. Being kind doesn't cost anything, in fact, it pays off! If you don't want to be kind for others, be kind for yourself. People will like you more. If you're a naturally selfish person who doesn't care about making people happy, there you go! That's your reason for being kind ANYWAYS. I might be being naïve or idealistic, but it isn't hard. It takes MORE to be mean that to be kind. Being mean will eventually come back to you. Maybe in a couple days, maybe in a couple years. Just be KIND guys, be THOUGHTFUL, be EMPATHETIC. I swear, these recent situations have made me SCARED of being on GWDFI, and Scratch as a whole.
