I was on Roblox the other day and there were these two religious girls. They were talking about religion and I was like "I'm religion less, I don't believe in God or Jesus or anything" bc they were talking to me. Then they were going on about how they hope I turn to the lord or whatever. Then they got into afterlife and I was like "I don't believe in the afterlife either" and they were like "what do you think happens to your body after death? It just sits there?" I was like "it decays and turns into earth". They were like "You confuse me girl" and then one of them is referring to me as an incorrect pronoun and I say: "Please use my correct pronouns (they/them)" *note I do go by they/meow but its easier on Roblox for they-them idk* so this girl goes "Ohhhhh your a they/them that makes sense why you didn't turn to the Lord" or something like that. I was like "I'm not 'a they them' my pronouns are they them." She was like "I'm sorry your life is so bad that you had to change your gender to get attention." Excuse me? Sorry girl, what??? "Pronouns and gender aren't the same thing" I said to them. They didn't believe me "yes they are" they said. Then they started misgendering me and calling me boy. This one girl started spamming "BOY HE HIM" and it made me want to cry. I reported them, but still, I just.... why. And I'm a girl still... just using different pronouns. Another event happened at school that made me made. These boys in one of my classes(no class name or their names for safety reasons) were for some reason talking about my friend. I was like "Yeah so-and-so is a girl who goes by they/them." Then they started talking about pronouns and gender and I can't remember the exact details but here are some: "Was so-and-so born a she/her or a they/them" like "That's not how it works" then I had to explain to them how pronouns and genders are differnt things "Gender is what you feel like you want your gender to be and pronouns are what people refer to you as." "Yes, you can choose your pronouns and gender" "I want my pronouns to be water bottle" "Um, if you really want that" "So if my pronouns are water bottle that means my gender is water bottle too" Um no buddy "Gender and pronouns are different!! You can be a boy going by she/her-" "You're a boy?" "/no/ that's just an example! Or a girl going by they/them or non-binary going by she/he" "Wahts non-binary" "Like people not having a gender" "So what are you then? Nothing" Brooooo gender isn't your whole being-- "No it's like when you aren't a girl or a boy." Then one boy says this $**+ "But your born with a gender you can't change your p*n*s or b*o*s." FIRST OF ALL YOU CAN SECOND OF ALL "Your body isn't what makes your gender. You can be whover you want to be." Then they started making a joke of it "I want to be referred to as him" Like so stupid its not a joke buddy .And you shouldn't have even been talking 'bout it in the first place- just freaking call people what they wanna be called and go about your day. People can be so dumb and mean. Idk why I even bother trying to explain things to people who aren't willing to listen. :sigh: I hate people sometimes. Boys can be the worst. I hate people sometimes
