(music: Hello, SEKAI by DECO*27 (this is a different tuning from his) OMG THE MOVIE WAS SO GOODDDD As you might tell, I've been waiting for this movie for so long. Literally since it's first announcement, when pjsk was announced for a movie adaption. It wasn't life-changing, but definitely what I call a good break from writing for just two hours. :') Also, to see Miku on the big screen. :D I'm going to show my review on the movie, which has been pasted from the review I shared on R _ eddit. (just had to censor the name) Since my original review contains spoilers, I removed all spoilers because, well, yesterday was just opening night, and as for how hyped I was on the first screening, I know there are still people who want to see it later. --- Hello! This Thursday, I saw the movie, and I want to make a review on it! First of all, the movie was AMAZING. Not life-changing, but truly something I would remember as someone who has been playing pjsk since its first anniversary, and has known Vocaloid for a long time. I would rate it a 10/10. The visuals were amazing, and it manages to balance the units and the Miku from the broken SEKAI. It does a great job on introducing the SEKAIs and what they are for others who don’t play the game, although, learning more about the game and reading the stories before watching the movie makes it exceedingly more enjoyable. Honestly, even if Deco had to handle so many composing for the movie, I have my highest respect towards him - as the music in the movie felt better when seeing it blend it with the group units, as they perform and sing. Miku’s struggle to connect with others is really well done - although, I wish there was more reason on WHY she is doing this. Of course, because its for the movie and that she is the main focus, but still, I would really liked some more backstory on Miku. Even so, I’ll always love Miku, and the movie still managed to make be feel some connection to her so I could cheer her on as she finally was able to connect with others by her singing. As for pacing, it was alright. It could have been quicker so that more could be shown (like Miku’s backstory, mostly what I said above). I felt as though the whole first half of the movie was like an inciting incident - the rest of the movie felt kind of quicker. Especially for the end. Of course, I totally understand that it is only a two hour movie that will condense some things here and there. I was never expecting so many story on the units, many characters developing (because this happens in the stories in-game, and this movie takes place before the third anniversary), and, of course, this is about the Miku who can’t sing! The title says it all! Overall, I’m so glad a Miku movie now exists. Would I buy the movie when it’s streaming? Of course! It’s a movie I would watch over and over! I can’t wait to use the serial code! :D In my opinion, the movie is a must-watch for pjsk and Vocaloid fans! I believe it can be enjoyable for others, and a moment to see and experience Miku being on the big screen! She has gone so far. ;D
