⠀⠀⠀⠀"Mum! Mum! Dad!" I burst into their room and ran over to flick the lamp on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Nutmeg?" Dad mumbled, rolling over to look at me. "What's wrong?" ⠀⠀⠀⠀"You have to come here," I said, grabbing his hand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Nat, hold on," he stopped me. "Did you have a nightmare?" ⠀⠀⠀⠀I shook my head, "Just let me show you." ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Steve? Natasha?" Mum was awake now, staring at both of us. "What in the world are you doing?" ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Something's wrong with Nat," he explained. "You stay here." ⠀⠀⠀⠀"No, I'm coming with," she said stubbornly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Can we please hurry?" I asked impatiently. They nodded, and I led them down the hall into my room. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Nat, I don't see what-" Dad stopped, his face white, when he saw those words. Hail Hyrda. Black paint was dripping from the letters, but none of use moved to stop it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀Dad finally broke the silence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Nat, tell me what happened. From the beginning," he said, sitting down on the bed. Mum sat beside him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"I heard the glass cracking, and I woke up. Then this man...floated in here," I gestured to the broken window, cold air blowing in. Mum shivered. "He asked me who I was." ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Did he tell you his name?" ⠀⠀⠀⠀"No, he just took off his hood. Dad, I'll telling you, he's red and has no nose!" ⠀⠀⠀⠀His face was a puzzle, shock, recognition, confusion, all mixed in. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Who is he, Dad?" I asked. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"It's not possible, Steve," Mum whispered. "You said he was d^ad." ⠀⠀⠀⠀"He didn't go to Vormir through the Tesseract," he said quickly. "It's some other way...in the future." ⠀⠀⠀⠀"What is Vormir?" Mum asked Dad as he stood. "What haven't you told me, Steve?" ⠀⠀⠀⠀He walked past me, but I stopped him for a second. ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Dad, who is he?" ⠀⠀⠀⠀He sighed, "Red Skull, back from the d^ad."
