A: As a perfectionist myself, at some point you just have to accept that editing is something you HAVE to do. I dislike changing the past; once it's written, I keep it. However, that's not how good stories are made. Don't be afraid to change your story, edit, or even scrap it altogether. Your story is yours; time doesn't hold you to any bonds. A: Yes (but most are absolutely garbage cuz I was in a non-writing era) Q9: What's your favourite plot structure? I just honestly think I want something left behind when I'm gone, or something I can pick up off the shelves and go, "Yeah, I wrote that." Q11: Do you like making graphic novels/comics? A: All of it. If you don't write for a long time, you CAN'T anymore. Sometimes no matter how much you want to put words onto a page, you can't find them. Q17: Do you like putting references in your stories? (references to other books, a movie, songs, etc) A: Oh yeah >:) All my favorite inside jokes that no one will ever understand... Q23: What do you think is the best thing for someone to do when they get writers block? A: Just don't push it. Honestly, when you can't write there's no point in overdoing it. Just take a break, think about what you love about the story/poem/song, then try again another day <3 Q24: When did you realize you wanted to be a writer? A: Idk but it's been a dream of mine for a while lol Q25: Do you have a lot of OCs? A: YES ToT Q26: Do you have a lot of stories you are writing? A: I have WAY too many ideas and scrapped stories lying around ;-; Q27: What's the most difficult part of planning a story? A: Either actually planning it section by section or sticking to your plot plotting (I tend to go on so many side tangents I diverge from my original plot idea and the story takes a really weird 360) Q28: Do you do journaling? A: Yes <3 Q29: Do you write in one specific way/theme, or lots of different ways/themes? e.g. fantasy, third person, non-fiction, first person, second person, fiction, etc A: Many different themes/ways. I used to do a lot of third person limited, but now I tend to use first person for almost everything. I've also done many different genres (sci-fi, romance, fanfics, journaling, adventure, comic, picture book, etc).
Q30: Do you find it hard to write the first chapter/ prologue? A: No, writing the first part isn't too hard for stories (essays though... now that's a different question lol); the hard part is actually sticking with the story until the end xD Q31: Have you drawn your characters before? A: Some of them Q32: Have you roleplayed with your characters before? A: No xD Q33: Do you think you take way too long planning what to write instead of actually writing? A: No, I think I take way too long to actually WRITE (my WPM is insanely slow T-T) Q34: What's your favourite part when editing?
