But this doesn't mean Jesus wasn't crucified during Passover or that Jesus didn't fulfill the prophecies! During Passover time many, many people would go to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices. It's likely that the priests didn't have time to deal with all the sacrifices in one day, so they started a day or two early. So Jesus being crucified on a Thursday is very possible!
