Hey everyone :3 So... this is an announcement I should have made a while ago. I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to it, but I have some pretty big news. As many of you know, I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As a member, I have the opportunity to serve a mission. The best way I can describe it is that I'm leaving home to serve others and offer the Gospel to them. It's something I'm looking forward to, since I want to grow as a person, learn how to be more of an adult, and I know I'll be blessed for serving the mission. I don't know how many people are interested in knowing this stuff, but religion is important to me. The thing that matters to the people here is that... well, the mission is two years, and I won't have social media and stuff while I'm on it. It's a commitment, and I wouldn't have it any other way. But that means I'll be gone for two years. I know a lot of you know about this, but to those who haven't heard this before, I'm sorry, this must be a pretty big shock. This is important to me, but I also will miss my friends here a lot. It means... so, so much to me, to have friends here that support me. I am so grateful for you, and I should probably be more grateful. Some of you I've been friends with since I joined way back during quarantine. You guys got me through that, and so much more. The official date is June 23rd. However, I may go offline as early as late May, though I'll give a prior warning if that's the case. After that, it should be about two years, possibly plus an additional month or two. After, will I come back to scratch? At the moment, I'm not sure. Unless something happens to my account when I'm gone, I think I'll visit and say hi, but I may move on from Scratch to another site like (that) cord or something. I'm not sure, we'll see. I'd love to keep in touch with people when I get back, but a lot can change over two years. Thank you all for understanding.
