Elegance'Hymn stands proudly, a toothy grin easy to be seen. She has a lithe, slender body, and fin sports a primarily fawn pelt, although swirls of caramel and chocolate decorate their flank, tail-tip and front-paws. A colourpoint's mask wraps neatly around her eyes, and fins alert, pricked ears are decorated with a wilted rose flower. They have a kinked tail and azure blue eyes, having also formerly worn a moss bracelet woven by finself. ʙᴀᴄᴋsᴛᴏʀʏ Elegance'Kit and her two siblings, Carnation'Kit and Dancing'Kit, has a rough start in life. Originally born to a harsh and dismissive kittypet named, unfittingly, Muffin. As a mere newborn, little Eli was thrown away, left for d>ad in the forest. Thankfully, a clancat found her and her brother and sister, a member of MossClan by the name of Rose'Thorn. The starvation that the ancient clan was severe, and despite the love that lingered in his gaze when he watched his trio of kittens, he knew they'd never belong. Anyways, he was on his last legs himself. He knew who he could trust to look after them, though. Rose'Paw had met a cat as an apprentice. It had been so confusing. Feeling those squiggly butterflies make his stomach feel funny. But Tapper'Paw, despite being a member of FlurryClan, was kind and meant well, although he was a bit nervous himself. So, trembling shakily with every step, he took Els and her siblings to the edge of MossClan's territory, to a field of blossoming carnation flowers, all the colours of the evening sky. His job was done. He believed on the stars himself that StarClan would guide these tiny ones to his boyfriend, Tapper'Shield.. The fateful day came soon, only a mere few hours after Rose had left the kits there. Tapper'Shield had found them, noticing their familiar scent with a heart-sucking lurch. This couldn't mean what he thought it meant. He pushed the possibility aside, licking the shivering, mewling kittens. Regardless of how much he tried to ignore it, the rose nestled in Eli's fur, and the petals that decorated Carnation'Kit and Dancing'Kit was a clear sign. This had been his lover's dy!ng promise and loyalty to these kittens, so Tapps would uphold his wish. The names came to him as quickly as the grief did. Carnation'Kit, after the red flowers both Rose'Thorn and Tapper'Shield adored. Dancing'Kit, after the small kitten's enthusiasm. Elegance'Kit, after the elegance of the songbird, as it whistled its bright tune, signalling happier days. Sure, these little bundles of chaos had come and lit up his day, but the curse that followed the clans made his guilt bubble up in strange intervals. For Tapper'Shield was the only warrior who survived the great starvation. ..and that was something he could never forget. Elegance'Hymn's kithood was filled with delight and new discoveries. She was always a confident, daring kit, and snuck out the nursery, not once, but two times with the help of an older apprentice. The unknown excited her -the prospect of something new always being out there-, and she made a friend early in to her life. Hail'Kit was a sweet, if mellow, grey kitten, and the two became close buddies. Caramel'Kit was another friend, albeit a far more distant one than Hail. Despite the tragedies that had befallen her and her siblings early on, they held fast, and if anything, this only made her more brave. After all, she'd do anything to impress her papas. It didn't bother her that the rose that her dad had given her was wilting, she'd just adjust it a little and give it a little lick to make it stand up a little straighter by her ear. She was a little weaver at heart, with dexterous paws that could create some of the most fantastical things, and her first creation was made when she reached two moons - a little friendship bracelet for Hail'Kit, with a rock woven into it, but her weavings grew more skilled quickly, her talent clear. Her apprentice ceremony was one of excitement and bliss. As the leader called out to all the gathered cats and announced her mentor to be Polar'Breeze, she felt a burst of delight, this was fantastic! She started using she/they/fin pronouns, and spent a decent amount of time with her two best friends. Hail'Paw, unsurprisingly, and a black she-cat called Joy'Paw, who fin had met after training together. The trio was the blight of FlurryClan. ( ᴄᴏɴᴛ. ɪɴ N&C )
( ᴄᴏɴᴛ. ғʀᴏᴍ ɪɴsᴛʀᴜᴄᴛɪᴏɴs ) Elegance'Paw, unlike fins siblings, was always relatively distant with her family, aside from her dad, as she yearned for a life of adventure, not tedious clan-life. They pursued this goal by neglecting their duties, a mistake on her part. Fin met a little kitten by the name of Canary'Kit, and bonded with the small yellow kit quickly, due to their shared interests, and their chaotic energy. She taught him many a thing during his kithood, such as how to make bracelets, and how to get away with skipping duties. It was unsurprising that when her ceremony came, Can-Can was fins apprentice, now using she/he pronouns. The name made her heart sore. Elegance'Hymn, Elegance'Hymn, Elegance'Hymn. She rolled her warrior name over fins tongue, blue eyes glimmering with exhilaration from the ceremony, leaning against Hail'Hush and Joy'Jump happily. This was the kind of name both of her dads would approve of, and that was good enough for them. Training would start with Canary'Paw tomorrow, too! It was fantastic, so fantastic that they had made a matching bracelet for her, since a token of their friendship seemed necessary. Warriorhood seemed pleasant at first, fins darling apprentice graduating under the name Canary'Song, another noble name, but it all fell to shambles the night the foxes came. It was four of them, invading camp. Their teeth bubbling with foam, cold eyes glimmering like gemstones. They had tried to hard to fight. With claws, and teeth and everything. But as El's world began to fade to black, fin saw something she'd never forget. Fangs clamped around Hail'Hush, warm bIood slipping down his face and tainting his stormy grey pelt a heavy scarlet. He had struggled, lashing out, when a snap resounded across camp. Hail'Hush fell limp, eyes glazing over and body falling to the ground with a thud. When El got to see fins best friend the next morning, he looked nothing like the cat she had seen a few days before. The next moons were a cold blur. Joy'Jump tried to comfort her, but even she burst into tears at the mention of her lost loved one. Then the Clouded sickness swept. Fin was so, so angry, and so, so sick, and it just felt like another stab in the stomach from StarClan itself when their father was taken away from fin. So she ran. Hours upon hours clocked by, and she had no idea where she was going, she just knew fin was going to find /it/. The beast that had started her spiralling depression and anxiety. She could smell the bIood it had dealt on the fox's own paws, orange fur like a fire ablaze. So fin fought. And she fought. And she fought. Their claws were like a show of blades, and as she stood above the body of the ginger beast, her own bIood mixing with the creatures, fin smiled. Yes, they were gone. But she had taken the fox with them. The stars had never haunted her. They had always felt alive under the night, cats watching down on her as she danced. So when most cats were distraught with d>ath, fin welcomed it with open arms. She had lost some of her charming, lively spark, but her soul still held light and hope. She watched as cats came and went. As clans grew and argued. Ha, petty things, clancats are. On one of these nights, she was travelling along the many pathways of FlurryClan, breathing in the familiar scent of home, instead of the usual stardust. A sudden sound startled her, and fin flinched, ears flattening to the base of their head. The noise wasn't angry, however. It was scared. Her ghost form flickered slightly, and they faltered, cautiously drawing closer to the noise. There, huddling together in the icy leafbare were three kittens. All had ginger pelts of varying shades, but all glowed like the sun. Els couldn't contact them directly, so she led them to FlurryClan with a trail of pawsteps in the snow, taking them to fins brother, Carnation'Fire. He named the kittens Pumpkin'Kit, Papaya'Kit, and Mango'Kit, though after a quick dreamvisit, Elegance'Hymn claimed them as her own, although he cared for them when fin couldn't. They grew into fine warriors, tragically losing their lives far too early, just like their mother, Els finself. Still, the tale of her grandkit, Bug'Bite, and his own kittens is still unfolding right this moment.. ᴏᴛʜᴇʀ ɪɴғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ - Elegance'Hymn is right-pawed, although has an unusual talent with both paws. - Funnily enough, Els is allergic to stardust, and is constantly sneezing up in StarClan. - Bug'Bite is owned by @Sunset_ash! Go roleplay with them if you can :) - Eli loves snails, and has a pet one named Slip. - Elegance'Hymn has minor asthma canonically! ( Research has been done, but I have it myself ) - Fin is a era 1 cat, and became a warrior right as the Clouded'Glade event started!
