“This is where I… MaRiA…” The second I heard this part I knew what I wanted to do lol This is referencing a specific cutscene from the game “Shadow the Hedgehog” in which Shadow discovers where he and his best friend Maria (the girl with the blonde hair) died. It’s this really emotional moment, and then Sonic shows up and says this: “LOOKS LIKE THIS PARTY IS GETTING STARTED, TIME TO ROCK AND ROLL!” The fact that this is the first time I have ever drawn Maria is… Something. Not because I don’t like her or anything but because drawing humans is hard. I am so sorry
