Click, space or any key no particular order (exporting sucks so I couldn't really order anything- these guys have lots of lore and plot etc but idk if I want to explain it all yet because I might make a comic later? idk idk. all I know is in the span of a week I've drawn 42 digital pieces of them and filled an entire 80 page notebook so um- im a lil crazy for them atm. (there are only 41 drawings in this dump because one of them has HEAVY spoilers for the major plot of one of the three story arcs I have planned... and it's like- the important one) if you want to read lore, stay here. if not, jump to notes and credits to get the image by image breakdown. wonderful, you're still here!!! So these guys live in a clan called Lichenclan. This takes place in Iceland because I was in Iceland when I came up with them. Anyway, they live in tunnels underground (for the warmth because of geothermal activity in the area) and thus are pretty connected with their ancestors and star clan, because yk, it took generations to build those tunnels. When a cat becomes a warrior, they go to the hall of paw prints (working title), a part of the tunnel system, and press their paw into the dirt on one of the walls, leaving their mark on the tunnel forever, marked by their initials. In addition, when a cat becomes a warrior they choose a "patron", a cat who used to live in the clan and press their nose to the paw print, much like the moonstone. this ceremony is supposed to allow cats to gain the wisdom and advice of star clan as they move into adulthood. because of this strong value of history, they have a designated lore keeper. this cat is basically like a historian, passing on and writing down the stories of the past. The lorekeeper also may perform regular warrior tasks or assist the medicine cat, but their main focus is, yk, lore keeping. The current lore keeper is Aspen'willow + their apprentice Marspaw/Marsstorm depending on where in the timeline you are The clan also doesn't uphold the warriors code as much, being a lot more lenient on things like medicine cats having a mate and kits. I think I can explain everything else in notes and credits, so lets hop over there and meet the people who didn't want to listen to three whole paragraphs of my nonsense
1- AspenWillow my bbygirl!! They were my first oc for this project and I love them with all my heart 2- Appelsin, the former kittypet. (What kind of a name is appelsin?!?!?! you yell at the screen. It's an Icelandic soda, kind of like fanta but better) AspenWillow and PidgeonWing's partner. 3- Mars'storm! based of one of my pce cats. AspenWillow's apprentice. Might become leader one day in the far future 4- SPARKSTARRRR!!! I know he doesn't look like much but I've legit fell in love with this guy /platonic 5- Yep more sparkstar 6- MountainPelt!! Pidgeonwing's brother who might have a crush on Aspenwillow but idk 7- Swiftcrow is not alive. Once upon a time, Pidgeonwing really wanted kits but aspenwillow didn't and was scared they'd be a bad father so they ended up breaking up, and pidgeonwing got together with swiftcrow (at the time the medicine cat). Swiftcrow was mysteriously unalived though... (not Aspenwillow's fault dont you dare accuse my bbygirl I know they're the prime suspect but they're innocent trust me.) 8- Goosecall does not dig your vibe. 9- Goosecall old design. Who is goose call? glad ya asked!!! Goosecall is Pidgeonwing and Swiftcrow's daughter. Later kinda unnofically adopted by aspen willow.
