The Scout is not built for melee. His melee weapons do about half the damage they would on about any other class, with the reward of swinging faster. Plus, the Scout has 125 health, making him a light class. His entire gameplay design is about rushing in, doing damage, and hightailing it out as fast as possible, so what in the world possessed you to make you come up with a melee-only Scout subclass, me? Why would you do this? Are you insane? Evil? Do you have a thirst for pain? What potential does a Scout-Knight have?! I have no idea. Anyway, As previously stated, the Scout isn't really built for melee. He does less damage each swing, but they come out faster. 35 damage per swing, 0.5 seconds in between each of them. With any other class (with stock), the average melee DPS is about 81.25. With Scout, it's about 70. That means it's just overall worse! Right? NO. WRONG. YOU ARE FOOLISH. DIE. Random critical hits are the same chance. That means if you're a gambler, this is the subclass for you! While the crit for other stock weapons is about twice as much as Scout's, they come out slower and sometimes not at all. Plus, you have something no other class has (barring the ones that do); A N N O Y I N G M O V E M E N T M E C H A N I C S Scout has a double jump, the fastest base speed in the game, and a bunch of weapons that give him more movement capabilities. The best set-up one could come up with is likely as follows. Force-a-Nature, Winger, and any melee that doesn't have lower damage. The Scight's only source of damage should come from melee. A quick meatshot could be a finish-off, but your other weapons should rely mostly on being mobility to get into weird places and ambush unsuspecting Heavies that quickly shred you. However. Is it valid? Is a melee-focused Scout build actually any form of good? No, not really. It's outshone by Demoknight in almost every way. It's a fun idea, but with mediocre execution at best. The inconsistency of the damage and lack of sustain means it likely won't get you too far.
