June is National Scoliosis Awareness month and I want to raise awareness for this condition. Many don't know what it is or what people with this condition go through so I think it is important to teach others about this topic. I have Scoliosis and have been battling it for a couple years now. Today, I wear a Scoliosis brace for 17 hours a day that is painful and it has caused a burden on my mental health. I have felt insecure, different, weird, and worried about what others would think of me. I had to learn how to live and get used to this "new life" and deal with this type of pain. Even through all the unbearable pain, emotions, and appointments, I know it will all be worth it in the end. My spine has been getting better and I hope it continues to go that way. Over the years, I have learned to accept that I am not perfect. I am different and I have something that not everyone has and that's okay. I can't change it. I have hope that this pain is only temporary and that this will all be worth it for my future. Never would I have thought I would be in this situation but here I am getting through it even though I almost gave up. If anyone wants to share their story or if you need any motivation, I'm here for you, just let me know in the comments. My heart goes out to all those who are struggling with Scoliosis. I want to let you know that I am proud of you for persevering and dealing with the hardships it comes with. I believe in you. You can go far. Thanks to all my followers, you have been so kind and you have helped me through so much! I hope to post more projects soon!
