With the introduction of SG-43 from the Krigstovoskans, the New Loridican military began dabbling with the idea of an incendiary agent of similar nature. They needed an edge with the introduction of Purrqing in the war in Koryang. And so, the span of 4 months saw vigorous testing and eventually "humanoid trials". One specific place said to hold the most trials and unrestricted testing would be a secluded structure in the far eastern forests of New Loridica near the current front against the Arlandian States; The Eastwood Camp. Soon, active testing in combat was ready. Albuthane, or Snowburn as nicknamed by higher command for its shining appearance and the distinct pale grey gas it leaves behind. While technically not a chemical agent and rather an incendiary agent, it's effects are equally as harrowing for any enemy unfortunate enough to be caught within the grasp of a cloud of Albuthane. This agent is a liquid before exposed to oxygen, when it abruptly combusts and boils up to thousands of degrees while releasing a gas byproduct. The liquid agent itself is dangerous enough, even the smallest droplets burning for minutes until exhausting itself. The gas byproduct, though, is the most important part of this reaction. The gas is just as hot as the liquid upon being produced and begins cooling down in the open air. Upon contact with any skin when hotter than 90 Fahrenheit, it begins searing the skin and potentially seeping deep into the flesh. This appears to apply to almost all human tissues from previous testing. Severe burns ranging from 2nd to 3rd degrees, widespread inflammation, scarring of the lungs, irritation to the eyes and even complete blindness are all possible with exposure.
