I mostly prefer to communicate by speaking. My only issue with this is eye contact. Sometimes I like to make eye contact, but I hate feeling pressured to look at someone when I don't feel comfortable. When I go nonspeaking, I prefer to communicate by physically writing, or when writing is physically painful, typing on a phone. I would love to communicate by typing on a computer, but I have never tried it. While English is the only language I speak fluently, I often prefer to speak in another language, usually Spanish, and sometimes Italian, Swahili, or ASL. The problem with this is that very few people I know speak these languages.
