"Once upon a time, in a kingdom very different from our own, where magic and creatures of the unknown resided, lived a boy. This boy was very unusual, even for a magical kingdom, because this boy could grant any wish you wanted. He would travel through the kingdom, asking to grant anyone and everyone a wish. He would not care what it was, he would grant it. But he didnt tell the people of the kingdom that there was a price. Magic always comes with a price, and though he granted the wish, those who asked for it paid. Soon the people feared the boy. He quickly learned of this fear so he granted a wish of his own. A wish that no one would be able to refuse when he asked for a wish. The cost of his wish was very burdensome. People flocked to him, asking him for wishes and forgetting the fear they once had. It overwhelmed the boy and he ran. He hid for years, only asking one person per year for a wish for if he didnt ask people for wishes, he would die." the grandmother paused as the little girl who was curled next to her squeaked. "Did he die, Granny? I dont want the boy to die!" the girl whispered. "Hush now, let Granny finish the story, Michaela." "Sorry." she squeaked. "The boy lived in hiding, but he became lonely. He sought after friendship and ended up finding love. The boy saw a beautiful girl with dark brown hair, and bright blue eyes and was instantly in love. He began to talk to her and play with her, but one day, he asked her for a wish. He did not mean to ask, but because of his past wish, she had to anwser. 'I want my parents to be alive.' she told him. But resurection had a cost far worse than any other wish. It cost death. The boy had to grant the wish and he wailed as the girl died in his arms. Never to breath again." "Mother!" A voice sounded from outside the room. "Stop telling Micaela these horrid stories of death and magic. I've told you this before." The little girl uncurled and walked toward the voice. "Mommy!" she hugged the woman, who now was standing in the doorway. "I'm sorry dear, its just what she asked for. And how can I deny her? Hm? Goodnight Micky dear, sleep well." "Night Granny!" "Off to bed now Michaela." Her mother said.

Obviously, this isnt really where the first chapter starts, since its a prologue, but it needed to be here for backround info, ch 1 might be out the same day this is released... idk
