hello, and welcome to my application for thymekit! preclaimed by me already, but i'm just doing this for extra info and research ^^ ‗ ❍ [form] ¡! ❞ ⊱┊ nickname + pronouns: feel free to call me sunset! my pronouns are she/her. ⊱┊ about you: i'm in the age range of 12-15, and i'm bisexual! i'm also a female, so any feminine terms are fine (making up nicknames for me too are great) :D i'm a music-lover, i listen to a bunch of music like conan gray, lana del rey, taylor swift, the arctic monkeys. i'm british, so my timezone is GMT. my favourite animal is a dog [ yes, yes, i know, i'm basic lmao ], and i do air cadets. ⊱┊ roleplay experience i currently own twilightstar, leader of cavernclan in tss where she is my first cat in that rp. i'm on my third cats in generations, named leekwhisper <333. i have been roleplaying for... two years i think? and i've been in many different rps, not just wcrps. ⊱┊ which kit you're applying for: i'm applying for thymekit! i'm doing this application so i can just add on a few things that i didn't get to say in the preclaim application. ⊱┊ why you want the kit + why you should have the kit: i really want the kit because since this is my first tfcrp cat, i would be as active as possible to not waste a cat. i should have thymekit because i think i could portray him pretty well, and i would live his life out to the fullest. ⊱┊ kit's future identity: male + he/they + omnisexual ⊱┊ kit's simple personality (try to have at least two traits of each): philosophical, kind, courteous, reserved, introverted, polite, thoughtful, argumentative, indifferent, open-minded. ⊱┊ kit's detailed personality: thymekit is an.... unusual individual. at first, the reserved and quiet character of the cat will give others a sense of 'go away, i don't want to talk'. their introverted personality will make it harder for thyme to make friends, although, those who get through to this kit, they'll be the lucky ones. that quiet and reserved facade will fall like a theatre curtain, revealing the cast of a play known as polite, kind and open-minded. these traits will shine when the spotlight comes onto them, as thyme will be what seems to be the most positive cat ever. however, don't get on his bad side, because once you do, long story short, you're screwed. any conversation will become an argument, and all that kindness will disappear. polite? never heard of it, since indifference will somehow weave its way through his voice when speaking to you. despite this, thyme is a very thoughtful cat, their words often described as philosophical, full of sophisticated words that seem far too advanced for someone his day and age. ⊱┊ codeword: see, my music taste is quite varied, going from soft rock to indie/bedroom pop. however, my all-time favourite is 'pretty when you cry' by lana del rey, and 'little league' by conan gray is a close contender. ⊱┊ other/idea dump: nicknames: thyme, time, tye voice claim: legolas from lord of the rings starter: ᴏʀᴘ || ᴄʀᴘ ᴡ/ || ꜱʀᴘ || ɴᴛ || ᴄʟᴀɪᴍ! ☀︎°⋆.ೃ ᴛʜʏᴍᴇ___ // _ ᴍᴏᴏɴꜱ // ʜᴇ/ᴛʜᴇʏ // ❝time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters❞ ☀︎°⋆.ೃ ᴛʏᴘɪɴɢ... ‗ ❍ [credits] ¡! ❞ ⊱┊host(s): ⊱┊designer(s): , ⊱┊artist(s): , ⊱┊ thumbnail: , with art from and ⊱┊description template: /
⊱┊ research + sources (folded ears): osteochondrodysplasia, or more commonly known as a cartilage defect, is found in folded ears. this is found is scottish folds, where the tightly folded ears impact the development of cartilage in the body. over time, severe abnormalities in joints and bone growth could lead to arthritis; short and abnormally thick, inflexible tails; spinal abnormalities; and short, stiff legs. the welfare impacts of folded ears can lead to cats being lame, walking with an abnormal gait, can be reluctant to join in with any physical activity, and could altogether become crippled. unfortunately, there is no known cure for this, so cats who have folded ears and develop arthritis will need long-term pain relief and dietary supplements to try and slow the development of arthritis. in a small number of cases, radiotherapy or surgery have been used to slow the progress down. cats who have folded ears may need special veterinarian care to help them improve the quality of life. source(s): https://kb.rspca.org.au
