Gwdfi is a fun place where anyone can talk anytime. Except that’s not what it is some of the time. Comments are constantly being turned off, and that is NOT the fault of the Studio Host and/or managers. It is our fault. Not ALL of us, of course, however, it is not just one person making the studio a not-as-fun space. The studio needs to be…nicer. I don’t know what the right word is for what the studio needs to be. What the studio needs to be is different for each person, so there is no one right answer. “But what do YOU know, @WayWorseWayBetter? You just joined Scratch!” While I did just join Scratch, I haven’t been on scratch for about 7 months. But I've been watching this studio a lot recently. I forgot my old account’s password. Even when I was on Scratch, I wasn’t on GWDFI a lot. But when I was on it, I felt better. It’s a nice, accepting space. And to continue that, we need to do a better job following the rules. Notice how I said “we” and not just “you guys”. I admit I can have a hard time following the rules in general, not just on GWDFI. So following the rules is important, and I want GWDFI to be a safe space where nobody feels mad at each other, or nobody makes anyone uncomfortable.
