Please Read: So I've seen a lot of people posting projects about stopping hate, and how they've noticed how many mean comments are going around on Scratch. Especially when @52Blue posted her project 'You Know What…'. I mean, why does everyone have to hate and comment mean things on someone's profile or project? So what if someone's project was bad? So what? If it was breaking the Scratch community guidelines, then just report the project! But if it wasn't breaking any rules, and it was purely your OPINION that the project was bad, why waste the time saying 'BOO' or 'You're projects are absolutely horrible'? What's the point? Maybe someone else thinks it's an awesome project! Why can't you haters just keep your mouth shut if you don't even have anything good to say? Say you said 'Stop posting ur stupid projects, they're horrible' to someone. Now, I know that most of you out there are generally nice and perfectly fine. But some people don't really understand that it doesn't help to say 'I hate ur projects'. What's the benefit? You get reported, people will hate you for hating on a project or Scratcher THEY love, and then what? Maybe those people who post mean comments and hate and disrespect other Scratchers are just jealous of other Scratchers. So what? Ask them for advice! Like, 'how do you draw so well? I want to draw as good as you!' Not only does it benefit you, it makes others feel good, and will make YOU feel good when they reply and say, thank you! Look, maybe you haters out there think you're being cool and amazing, hating on someone, like LGBTQ people or furries and therians. But some people don't actually agree. Think about it: What if you were told that someone hated you because…say, you're Asian? What would you feel? [continued below]
Remember, you have to think before you speak, because it's not like you can take back what you said. Think about who the person on the other side of the screen might be. Maybe they aren't who you think they are. Maybe they're different than the person you imagined. Maybe they're just like you.
