So for you peeps who don't know, ai art is basically just some website where you type in a prompt to this thing called ai (short for robot) and it generates a piece of artwork depending on what you say. "How bad can that possibly be?" I hear you say. Well, it's fine if you're doing it for funsies and not claiming it's your own or posting it anywhere on social media, but when you do, that's bad. Why? Because "ai art" is basically billions of artwork from artists all over the world shoved into a "ai teaching chute", let's call it, to train the ai how to draw, without consent from the artists. Worst of all, it's mostly nightmare fuel. "Why would anyone want to do that though?" you say? Well, either because they don't know (hence why this project is made), they're jerks or either they fall under some of these reasons: -they think their art is bad. -they think they can't do it like us. -they don't have the confidence to show their actual art If you know someone in one of these categories, help them out! If we just bully them, that's as okay as the ai teaching chute. You could tutor them somehow, if they want to draw like you, or just make them feel good about their art. If you get to see some of their art, just say one of these: -"that's so much better than ai! " -"can I get tutored from you?" -"wow, is that a photograph?" -"can you make me one?" These are bound to work, and if they don't, just wait until they're in a better mood! Even if they need improvement, don't be afraid to give them feedback, so long as it's not harsh. You don't learn to draw overnight! It took me personally 3 years to master drawing cats! I haven't started on humans. I've seen other artists post projects like this on scratch and other websites, and I think that's amazing! So why don't you make a new subject, draw a quick sketch (it doesn't have to be amazing, like the thumb), write your own take on ai art and post it! Even if it doesn't get any views, or any likes, that's okay! Just know so still made a difference. Now find a new project and have a good one, yall :>
