Heyy so I wanted to quickly explain a few things, really the reason why I've been so wacky with the upload schedule and stuff for HtFLiB 1) Irl Events Yeah, I've got a lot going on. To be honest, I'm literally writing and editing everything in a day :,D It doesn't line up too well with my irl schedule so plan on writing/editing a chapter, but then I take much longer to do an assignment, or something happens, and then I just can't do it. 2) My writing process My writing is like my art. I am the slowest writer in the world- I like editing my writing 50 bajillion times, proofreading it 100 million more times, then editing it a trillion more times. THIS SERIES GOES AGAINST ALL OF THAT- I EDIT MY WRITING AN ENTIRE ONE TIME. IT DRIVES ME NUTS. [ As you can tell I'm 1000% a perfectionist. If a single word of mine is out of place in my writing, it's garbage and not a soul is allowed to see it. So imo I'm posting garbage writing rn ;v; ] 3) I kindadon'thaveitplanned- uhm this one i'm a bit embarrassed about- I have the main storyline for HtFLiB planned out, since it's quite literally already posted on the CTC wiki, but I don't have most of the actual chapters planned out for this ;-; I got some of them, and I know about how many for each section of the story it's gonna take, but I'm still trying to figure out the details- I would've thought about this sooner, if it hadn't been for this all being literally a "hey yknow what imma just make this a text story instead that way it makes more sense B)" on some random Tuesday or sum. HtFLiB was supposed to be some short mini-comic series I was gonna do when I learned to shade really well ;-; but I wanted to do the whole Envy story before I had to leave scratch since I didn't know if I would ever be able to talk to the CTC community again so- yeah... 4) the deadline- Ack so with me having to leave scratch around the end of May, I'm trying to finish EVERYTHING before then. HtFLiB, art, everything. But with me lowkey not knowing how many chapters I need for HtFLiB, thats kinda putting pressure on me, bc what I do know is that it IS gonna be quite a few if I don't want it to be rushed. I did the math and I could only do like 12 total plus epilogue and prologue if I did 2 a week, hence why I've been posting them so often... 5) ...e-envy y-your d-design... Writing a four-armed character is hard. Writing from the perspective of a four-armed, 65-foot-tall girl with mouths on her hands is even HARDER. Now add the fact that she calls trees pokey sticks out of the dirt with weird small green things and congrats it's impossible to do anything (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ [ fr chat I'm banging my head against the wall with this one- ] wait is that how shrimplord feels- Okay, what I'm saying though is that I promise I have reasons for such a weird routine. My motivation has been all over the place, and my ideas have been either really good or terrible. HtFLiB is NOT cancelled, I just need to lock in guys B) also i might post two chapters tomorrow if I can fr figure my crap out :,0
