Due to recent events the Catonya Defense Forces have become more alert in recent days. The Naval Force and Coast Guard have conducted patrols in the Meridian Ocean and tracked south towards the Oka-Meridian Strait amid the sinking of numerous vessels in the area. Meanwhile, about 3,000 personnel of the 119th Guards Airborne Brigade (assigned to SATO Response Force) were tasked with counterinsurgency action in Akalatia following increased combat activities there.
