You have to use turbo mode (press shift and click the green flag). Click and/or drag to color cells. Press 1 to change the background, and press r to create a random soup! Press space to step through generations and press "a" to run through generations and press "s" to stop them. Down arrow to clear board, up arrow to fill board.

It should be clear by now that this is not mobile friendly. Note: If the screen goes black that is just the project not any crash or error. Click and you will see a white square where you clicked. The Turbo Mode warning is bad and you have to wait a second for it to work. If you want to, you can turn Turbo Mode off after the warning but then draw something and see just how horrendously slow it is. Well, at least you can see how the engine works!
