The release, set for summer 2013, was announced as of October 2011, with realisation of the magnitude of the task at hand. The bulk of the videogame being programmed only this summer in a small office environment, this project shows signs of a thoroughly tested and refined game that has been ages in the making. Even though Scratch 2.0 was released during the production process, this game remains strictly under the conforms of the 1.4 engine, upon which the project base was started and completed. The scripting and sprite arrangements have been effectively economised in comparison with the previous installments, although the project size is over 10 times more than the old, disbanded upload limit of 10MB. ____________ FEATURES: This game brings true Hogwarts blueprints to light like never before from the EA videogames, and incorporates a gesture-based spell casting system, built upon from its predecessor’s spell engine. The player can interact with their environment and talk to various people including the Fat Lady portrait. Find and recruit members for Dumbledore’s Army, while attending real classroom locations such as the Potions class and the Defense Against the Dark Arts room. Play the key moments from the story from the Dementor attack in Little Whinging to the vicious battle at the Ministry of Magic. This game has the option of background music, comprising of two key themes from the Harry Potter films. Graphics options can also be toggled.
