This is a fun quiz made up of a questions specially calibrated so that anyone can test their nature knowledge and have fun! As well as a fun quiz, this project is also to raise awareness for Earth! A Little about Earth Day... Earth day is a holiday celebrated in 192 different countries globally. It began in 1970 when an organization led by a senator of Wisconsin started a call for action. Nowadays, Earth Day is a day to raise awareness for issues facing the environment and encourage people to protect the planet. What Earth Day is to me... I feel as Earth Day is a reminder to even the most eco-conscious people to be nice to the Earth. It keeps people caring about the Earth, and keeps them from trashing the Earth for even a few days, unlike how we have been doing for decades. What I Did For Earth Day This Year... This year, 2 of my friends and I started an Earth Club! We talked to our principal, designed a poster, and got ourselves on our school's morning announcements. I'm so proud of us, and we hope many people show up to our first meeting! Spread Earth Day's Message... Though many people, including USA's president, do not believe in climate change and what extinction and trash can do to our planet, we can still help. Raise awareness, pick up litter, tell your friends, practice the three R's, and maybe even start a club *wink wink* Have a Wonderful Day...
