paragraph: All Too Well means to me that while Taylor felt safe while she was dating Jake Gyllenhaal, she felt like they would be the ones to make it farther in life. I think that she also felt like she changed too much for him, because he just broke her, even though she was honestly too perfect for him. I also think that he made her feel safe and secure around him and his family, and near the end of their relationship, he started being problematic and let his true self out. I think that their age gap also didn't help with this, because she was only 20, so young and naive, just hoping this relationship would work out, yet Jake was 29. I think he was only dating somebody who wouldn't realize how problematic he was, and she didn't because she was young. It makes me feel sad for Taylor because after their breakup, she had to find herself, because he broke her during the relationship. I feel even worse for her because she thought they seemed perfect, and after the relationship she realized all the bad things about their relationship and why they shouldn't have been together.
