So, got a series proposal for Scratchverse (was originally a SubStudio's thing but it wasn't getting much traction there). The Last High Summoner. I'm still tweaking the lore, so expect things to change later down the line. And if you wanna get involved and make a monster for TLHS, or have any other ideas for the plot or locations or other characters, feel free to let me know. ---The Plot--- Basically, this series takes place in a medieval fantasy world where there are two different groups. Humans and Monsters. And no, that's not an undertale reference, if anyone says that, I'm sending you to Detroit. But anyways, the monsters were all created by an eldritch being known as The Mother of All Monsters. They were naturally hostile, but a group of humans came about that could tame them known as Summoners, and thus the monsters were split into two groups. Feral and Tamed. Things were going great until the Summoners found themselves in a great war against a rogue summoner named Melanthius. He had betrayed his faction and started up an empire of Feral Tamed monster hybrids. As the war dragged on, he slowly began to exterminate the summoners until very few remained and had to go into hiding. Thus, the world was made a much harsher place. There were far more feral monsters than tamed ones, but those tamed tried their best to reproduce and keep their lineages going. Likewise, the humans continued to build their society, setting up villages and guards to defend against any hostile monsters that they came across. But Melanthius still ruled, and was still corrupting monsters and causing the world harm. And thankfully, one summoner still remained. Mocho Caffé had been living with his grandma since he was a baby. He was born right at the start of Melanthius rebellion, and his parents went off to fight. After the war ended in the favor of evil, Mocho's grandma concealed his identity as a summoner to keep them and their village safe, but it was only a matter of time before he turned 18 and was told the truth. Now knowing the power he held, Mocho set off on a journey to defeat Melanthius, gathering a crew of monsters along the way. ---Note About The Monsters--- The Monsters in TLHS aren't just one race like the humans, they're actually split up into multiple different races each with their own looks, roles in society, cultures, abilities, etc. A majority of monster types come from mythological creatures like Dullahan, Lamias, Slimes, Minotaurs, Elemental Spirits, etc. Homemade creatures are allowed of course, but it's more fun to use beasts from mythology and folk-lore.
