Road of the Undead: A game where the objective is to defeat waves of zombies to defend a bunker filled with tons of people. Controls: Arrow Keys/WASD to move Mouse to aim Space or left-click to shoot F for shop Notes: The game is still in development so expect bugs. ST: These are laser guns :) Gun List & Descriptions: 1. Pistol - accurate, reliable, but slow. 2. Shotgun - strong, ammo-efficient, but unpredictable. 3. Minigun - fast, accurate, but wastes ammo 4. Wocket Wauncher - silly name, good for groups of z's, but VERY slow. 5. Raygun - might be the best gun in the game, gradual ammo decrease its pretty much just a maxed out gun for the sweats. Zombie Wiki: 1. Normal Zombie (light green) - medium speed and on the weaker side. 2. Fast Zombie (yellow) - fast speed, but also on the weaker side. 3. Glitch Zombie (Red) - unpredictable movement, sometimes strong, other times weak. This is a bug that I felt actually worked in the game, so I kept it. 4. Giant Zombie (Sea Green) - Very slow, but upon being killed spawns a normal zombie in its place. Armor: Default: 1 Armor, barely any protection but not nothing. Tier 2 (25 kills): 25 armor, solid protection, could be better off. Tier 3 (100 kills): 50 armor, good protection, you will be good off with this. Tier 4 (250 kills): 75 armor, great protection, no offense but you sweat this game WAY too hard, but are rewarded for it and rendered near invincible. Let the zombies try and get a piece of you. They WILL fail.
I found the starting text engine in one of my old projects, so let me know who made it. All other coding and costumes are made by me. Bug Fixing 1.1: - Fixed bug where zombies could spawn directly on you - Fixed bullets passing through zombies, so no more double kill :p - Sped up zombies bc they were too slow Visuals 1.2: - Added beginning cutscene :O - New fire look for the fast zombie - Main menu thing Bug Fixes for previous version 1.2.5: - Added hitbox for new zombie (whoops) - forgot to add the damage and loot-boxes with the new cutscene addition so fixed that Celebrating that people saw this 1.2.99: - noticed that there are 8 views and celebrated bc that's like a lot for me lol TONS of bug fixing 1.3: - fixed a bug where there was an 100% spawn rate of mutants after x time, so now there's an 80% max - for all the people that wanted to edge camp - you can't, zombies can spawn on you AND bullets won't fire on edge > ; ) Shop update 1.3.5: - WIP shop thing, so stay tuned, whoever is playing - Pressing F results in the game "pausing," but that will later be a shop mechanic, so expect pausing to be short-lived. - SHOP EXISTS *parties silently bc i'm in school* and it has absolutely ZERO items :D - added a default gun to the shop, so pretty crazy - give me shop ideas so far I've got heals, ammo, and BPS in progress General touching up 1.4: - changed up the instructions and notes, and credits a bit Additions to the shop mini update 1.5.5: - I ADDED A SHOTGUN OMG ITS SO COOL WAHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS TOOK SOOO LONG LOL - weekend time, aka minigun that no one asked for Visuals 1.6: - The next feature is an ending cutscene if you die - End cutscene, but I may change the text just a little bit later - ok, I predicted it. I changed the end, and it's much nicer now. Teensy tiny bug fixes 1.6.5?: - Got a recommendation from a good friend to change it so the bullet shoots out of the actual gun and not the player lol. yw man. - changed the bunker in the end cutscene a bit because it was like weird Lots of tiny updates/bug fixes 1.7 - gosh, no school = no game progress so just small update: once you purchase a gun you own it so you can freely switch weapons without additional cost! - so this was driving me insane: one of the spawn scripts was bugging so i fixed it and Tada: no more weird spawning, only edge spawning - sound effects in progress at last. Shop addition 1.7.5: - whoops got distracted and "accidentally" made a nuke which i will soon add animation to - fixed the bug where the nuke triggers whenever you buy anything - its been a while since i made an update but here we are: i am making new shop stuff and possibly second page but i fixed the bug so now the footsteps only play on real movement not just any key :D - forcefield! yippee! ima change design and bug fix for it later bc its late at night when i made this P R O C R A S T I N A T I O N 1.8: - wow I’ve been so busy this summer that I haven’t got to updating so maybe soon? - uhh July 14 and I haven’t touched the game :p - procrastinating the shop second page and writing this Shop and visual updates 1.8.5: - ALRIGHT its about time i do something so we are redoing the art for the forcefield and more - wocket wauncher in progress and it looks *AMAZING* but this now means i have to make another shop page Huge shop update and a lot of bug fixes with it 1.9: - alright fine. ill do it. boom. 2nd page of shop - i know in the last post i seemed pretty "meh" about the 2nd page of shop but OMG IT WORKED YESSSSSS ITS NOT SPAWNING 160 CLONES OF THE PISTOL ANYMORE - in all seriousness though, new things soon. i also may cut out "unnecessary" parts of this changelog - shop change - you can no longer lose your run to a glitch like i did Another addition to shop 1.9.5: - Rocket Launcher complete! I didn't like the visual aspects so i redid it partially and now its nice - fixed rocket purchasing - i forgot to set the own rocket launcher to 0 so it was stuck at one for a bit but fixed now! - fixed forcefield texture in shop 2.0!: - new armor mechanic based on kills - minor bug fixes to damage - soon to be patched bug where each shotgun bullet is 1 score point - moved around stuff - fixed a bit of variables around the health bar - and finally, a minor crate rarity rework! secret update 2.5: - admin panel thingy secret - running out of room to write stuff so this could be the last log. peace out and enjoy my game. - End of list -
