Ahh, I can hear the complaints coming now. "Thistleclaw is in the Dark Forest, why did you draw him in StarClan?" "What's up with your designs? Whitestorm is white, Thistleclaw's a tabby, Snowfur's white!" For the first unspoken question, I don't feel that Thistleclaw ever deserved to be in the Dark Forest. He never killed anyone, never plotted murder, never even hurt someone in his Clan, even though Bluestar got on his nerves something fierce. A lot of people say that he almost killed Oakheart, and my response to that is if Oakheart were doing what he was when Bluefur found him, he really deserved such a brutal attack for acting like he owned the place. A lot more people say that Thistleclaw made Scourge and Tigerstar evil. For Scourge, he wasn't even evil, really. He just wanted land for the cats he rose to take care of. And as for Tigerstar, really guys? It's not like Goosefeather saw the evil in Tigerstar when he was a kit or anything. Tigerstar made his own choice to attack Tiny, and Bluefur could have stepped in at any point to stop Tigerstar, but only stopped him AFTER he had almost killed the kittypet. Thistleclaw never did anything to deserve being in the Dark Forest. He was just irritable and aggressive. He wasn't ambitious like Tigerstar, he wasn't insane like Ashfur. Bluefur's story just made him out to be the villain, even though he didn't do anything to get that view. Goosefeather's dumb vision of Thistleclaw covered in blood is stupid, too, because Thistleclaw never killed a single cat, he never marked the borders with blood, that was just Goosefeather's imagination. Honestly, I would have preferred it if Thistleclaw had become leader instead of the drama queen Bluestar. In fact, I think I'll do a comic of what it would have been like if Thistleclaw became leader, and I'll tell you now that it would have been all around better for ThunderClan. And can you imagine how happy Whitestorm must have been when he joined StarClan and saw Snowfur and Thistleclaw again? And then Bluestar died and drove Thistleclaw out of StarClan like she's ruler of the world. I mean, don't you feel bad for Whitestorm, who didn't get to see his father again after that? That's why, in my books, Bluestar never drove Thistleclaw out, and it was Ashfur in Thistleclaw's place in the Dark Forest. Ashfur tried to murder five cats of his own Clan(Firestar, Brambleclaw(by using Hawkfrost), Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, Lionblaze)and teamed up with a RiverClan murderer. Down with Ashfur, up with Thistleclaw! In fact, if I had to make a top 10 list of warriors that should have been leaders, here it is: 1. Brackenfur 2. Thistleclaw 3. Hollyleaf 4. Flintfang 5. Whitestorm 6. Stonefur 7. Shellheart 8. Ashfoot 9. Ivypool 10. Graystripe And as for their patterns, I really don't care about what you think they look like. I think that Whitestorm was white with a few black stripes, cream spots on him, and black on his ears and nose. I think that Snowfur looked more like a siamese than solid white. I think that Thistleclaw is a tortoiseshell, because even male cats can be torties/calicos, it's just a genetic mutation. I really love Thistleclaw. That comic is SO becoming a reality at some point.
