It was like he saw her again. He was brought back to the first day they met. She wore a yellow crimpled dress stained with mud and her hair touched the top of her shoulders. And her eyes. Her bright, brilliant, burning blue eyes. He thought he'd never see them again. Until Michaela. "Who is she?" Anton mumbled. He sat underneath a tall tree inside a park. People passed, but barely glanced at him. His thoughts circled Michaela and Maria. Clearly they were related, they looked very similar. But Maria couldn't have had a child and she had no siblings. Her parents didn't seem like they wanted more children, but maybe after Maria they seeked another child. A boy, since clearly the name has stayed. And Michaela. How did she resist the curse? "I asked her yet..." Anton couldn't think. He needed to find answers, but he didn't want to do what he'd have to do if he wanted them. He didn't want to go, there. Through the wall. But he had to. He needed answers. Anton stood up and walked out the park. He headed for a bakery named The Cupcakery. Instead of going inside, he went around back where a door was painted on brick. It was a deep brown with purple, blue, and green swirling around it. He put his hand on the painted door. He backed up and ran straight at it. Nausea blasted through his brain as purple, blue and green swirls encircled him. Anton moaned. He hated this part. He began to fall. The multi-colored swirls stuck to him. They made movement muddy, like he was in a pool of honey. After what felt like hours, he landed in a lake. "Wondered when you'd be back, darlin. I've got a wish."
