This is the unfinished sequel to the original Fighting the Abyss project: The Long Way Home, which is a finished game. Link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1102462822/ Story: After the man fights his way home, he is not greeted with the comfort and companionship he expected. Instead, he finds that the abyss has taken hold, and not a person is left anywhere. They are gone, but he is hopeful. There are no signs of blood, and he prays they all evacuated safely. The monsters are now everywhere. He is chased into a long-abandoned warehouse by a horde of slimy monsters, dropping all his items on the way. Can he escape the onslaught and find his people? That is up to you and your skill only. In the warehouse, he faces a wide variety of creatures, some new, and some familiar. You may see some monsters you recognize from The Long Way Home. Controls: "M" to sprint WADS to move Space to jump Goal: There is no end yet. For now, just survive as long as you can. Mechanics: The enemies work the same as in the original game: they appear with no explanation, and only when you die do you learn how they work. Practice makes perfect in this game, so take time to master each enemy. Features Maybe Coming Soon: Updating Graphics Adding an ending Finishing the game Adding an inventory and collectible items (from the first game) Recent Changes in Order: Balancing the boss and the sprint bar (Jumping consumes stamina) A health mechanic Added a new boss fight Added the Ripper, the spike traps, and the abyss holes Added the Crusher Added the Main Menu Started the game
Fullscreen is highly recommended Credit to Pressure from Roblox for the main theme: "Expendable" Credit to pixabay for all other sounds and music Credit to Doors and Pressure from Roblox for some ideas and inspiration. (This whole series is pretty much a homage to Pressure, which I consider to be an great game) If you want, you can advertise. Anyone who makes a rule that you can't is dumb.
