Instructions

1 - Altair skeleton that one of my brothers wrote next to. He wrote "sigma jawline" and "old man joints." 2 - Meteor ref. Meteor was created by @kaboom800, apparently when Nebula did a backflip off an asteroid while wearing some kind of space boots? I guess now he's seeking revenge for being created??? Idk. 3 - Ambrose and the Shadow Deity in their human forms. Because of lore/backstory, the Shadow Deity looks like he's 6 while in his human form, but he's really tall normally. Because he's a somewhat responsible parent (not the Shadow Deity's though), Ambrose is trying to prevent the Shadow Deity from the sharp object >:) 4 - Clementine Luella Nithercott. If you've done your research on NaS, you might know who she is. Half butterfly-ghost, half angel, she is very sweet. 5 - Two species I made a long time ago, the ??? and a cave fox. Yes, it's actually just called '???'. My dad added the explosion and the dialogue. :) 6 - The Shadow Deity in his human form again, but this time, it's a ref sheet. If you can read the date, you'll notice that I drew this a while ago. He's very cute and smol. <3 7 - Complete Shadow Deity ref (human form). I'm very proud of this, partially because I did it in one day. It's funny how even in full color, it looks like it's in black and white. 8 - More character designing! Paradox isn't a super new character, but this was my first drawing of her. I was planning to make her tail also black, but I forgot to before taking the picture... Her design was inspired a little bit by Whiteout from Wings of Fire. And a bit her personality too. 9 - More humans... I still haven't figured out eyes, but I mostly only struggle with human eyes for some reason? From left to right: Zepplin, Charlie, Uranus, and Jack (ERX-PLANTYM). Who's your favorite? 10 - Zepplin again, but with a monocle. Pretty self-explanatory. Not my best work, but I like the idea of giving him a monocle. Concept art ig. 11 - Bluebell in her human form. I'm pretty proud of this one, and she looks way younger than she actually is (like most other altairs); she's about 200,000 years old or something like that, I forget..... 12 - More humans! Fiddlesticks and Cosmo. 13 - Some of my VERY early attempts at drawing the style of humans I draw now. They're not very good... From left to right: Nebula, Thrips, Neron, Zepplin (again), and Snickerdoodle, who has a tail only because it looked cool. I think either Zepplin or Snickerdoodle turned out the best. 14 - Human stardust! This was on the same page as 13, but her placement was kinda weird, so I cropped her out and gave her an entire slide to herself! She totally deserves considering how neglected she's become T-T 15 - The Shadow Deity and his dog, Kippah, who is petrified for some reason 16 - More doodles of the Shadow Deity and Kippah 17 - "Redwood lets the intrusive thoughts win." Redwood and Starcrest are not to scale, I made them too short. (especially in the second frame lol) 18 - The second part of 17, but Redwood has a crowbar. *instant regret level 1,000,000* 19 - Vega ref, I struggled with the tail lol 20 - Deneb ref, I struggled with everything. If you go full screen on this one, you will be able to see the future and guess what the next one is! 21 - Lender ref, which was pretty easy. I struggled with positioning again, if you look close you can see all my erased lines. 22 - Finished lender ref. Guess who! I chose one of the main characters, so it should be easy. 23 - Finished wild lender. Maple is a character who I hardly ever draw or think about, and it's kind of sad because she's actually a pretty important character. This was my first time drawing her with an eye color, which shows how little I draw her. My last color drawing of her was back when I gave all my characters black and white eyes. 24 - Comparing the drawing with the finished product. I finished the base in a single class period. (guys it was pac, all we did was vote for class presidents and stuff. I did all my work first, I promise) 25 - I drew Aurora because my cousin (same one who asked me to draw Neron and created Aurora) asked me how to draw altairs. Can you guess what her design is based off of? 26 - Maple and Acer meeting each other. Acer is the scientific name for maple, so they kind of have the same name as each other. Acer belongs to and was created several years before Maple, in case you were wondering. 27 - And finally, to relive your eyes of squinting at a bunch of low-quality images of barely-visible pencil sketches, a fully colored, shaded, possibly waxed, touched-up picture of Zepplin, complete with a cast shadow, rays of light, and a background! I know, it's crazy.
