After the New Loridican Invasions of 1065, influence in the region was exponentially higher. By 1065, the population had risen sharply to about 58,000,000 through captured population centers and general migration. The political situation in the eastern coast of Zhanbeck had shifted entirely in the span of a half year resulting in farther spread in New Loridican, and to an extent, Unionist influence. The Arlandic States, now the Reformed Republic of Arlandia, was hit the hardest by the war. After facing such a crippling loss, what was left of Arlandia wasn't completely annexed but rather left as a New Loridican satellite state, formally a dependent territory. Its now Unionist government was less of a government and rather a front for the New Loridican council conducting almost all major decisions in the state. It was not hidden that the Reformed Republic of Arlandia was meerly a New Loridican territory. The Jevarian Unionist State fared better in most ways. Having lost less land and held relatively better relations with the New Loridicans before the outbreak of the invasions, they held somewhat more sovereignty by the beginning of 1065. Nonetheless, the government was yet another front for the high New Loridican influence behind the scenes. The exception here was that they were given more wiggle room and mild autonomy over internal affairs. So what's the difference between the sovereignty in Arlandia and the Jevarian Unionist State? Simply put, the Jevarian Unionist State is discreet about it's lack of conplete sovereignty. The Reformed Republic of Arlandia is not.
