Click or press spacebar (press g for special effects, press up arrow to revert.) +++ Entry for Glory! The anatomy’s a little wonky but it’s ok— +++ I absolutely loved the design for this guy! The backstory’s in the notes/credits. +++ Made in Tayasui Sketches, art that’s not the original drawn by me, drawn with my finger. Scratch absolutely butchered the quality (all I want to do is draw with thin line art) +++ This is the first DTA I’ve ever entered! I saw the design on April 28th, so I kind of had to rush this. I’ve been having a bit of artblock recently, so I thought drawing an adoptable might help.
Bio (I don’t know if I have to do this or not, I just saw everyone else doing it): Preferred name/nickname —Glori Age—early 30s or something Likes—people buying stuff from their store, food, sunbathing Dislikes—people not buying stuff from their store, hippopotamuses, the smell of snake musk, mysterious holes BACKSTORY TIME Present: Glorious, or Glori, is a creature of unknown origin who runs a small shop on the border of the grassland and desert. He sells everything from food to ancient swords. She likes to wear a lot of accessories, and loves showing off their jewelry to people. They’re very unpredictable in nature, sometimes leading lost travelers to shelter, and other times turning away anyone who happened to mention a hippopotamus (He has a fear of Hippopotamuses). Glori doesn’t reveal much about his past, but loves to hear other people’s stories. Many have asked if she’s ok, due to her small pupil and wide eyes, and turns out he was just born like that. They don’t care if you call them a girl or a boy, they just wanna sell you stuff. +++ Past: Tawny is the mother of Glorious, Juniper, and Hatchet. Hatchet has a cool grey and deep brown pelt, with strangely long canines. Juniper has a blue-grey and brown pelt, and looks the most like their mother. Glorious had a rare mutation making him have more golden or sandy colors, similar to his father. She didn’t blend in with their forest environment, so they couldn’t camouflage from prey and predators. Due to this struggle, they had to leave home and go to the desert in order to find food. It took a while, but she eventually adjusted to the blistering heat and barren landscape. His pelt matched the grains of sand, and he became quite the excellent hunter. One day, they decide to visit their family, back in the forest. They were gone. Glori doesn’t know what happened to them, but he has a strange feeling that it had something to do with a small, barely noticeable dent on the forest floor, that reeked of snake musk and carrion.
