(full backstory) used to worked as a monster hunter under the government (in his world there is only 1 government) he had a boyfriend and the boyfriend was offered a job as a higher up in the government. When the boyfriend accepted however the government told him he needed to have Yichi killed because he was too strong. A person was hired to kill him and did so, but not before Yichi had found out he had been betrayed. Yichi was smart and used a life-bind to come back to life when the assassin was killed. 10 years later the assassin was killed by a young boy who's friend had been murdered by the assassin, and Yichi came back to life. In death he had learned to switch how his body was affected by the energy that gave him his power and was able to become the single most powerful force in the world. (this next bit is important to the story not the hunger games) Way later in the story he faced off against his ex-boyfriend who had gotten powers genetically implanted. they both fought and ended up blowing up the protective dome the government had put over the earth, allowing some people to see the sun for the first time. in the end both fighters died, but Yichi won the duel.
