She was dearly loved by Lady Grey until Lady Grey married Lord Trevery. Sadly, Lord Trevery was allergic to both cats and dogs, so Lady Grey had no choice but to abandon Snowy. Alone and frightened, Snowy wandered along the pavement, hoping someone kind would take her home. One day, a terrible commotion broke out. Snowy looked up and saw an army of demons attacking the city. Suddenly, an angel named Lucy floated gently down toward the terrified cat. Speaking in the language of cats, she said, "A cat as snow-white as you has a choice to make. If you wish to save the city from the demons, you must merge with the spirit of an angel. But once you do, you can never be a cat again. The battle will end, peace will be restored, and the city will live to see another day. The choice is yours, and whatever you decide will be respected." With that, Lucy spread her wings and flew away, leaving Snowy to think. After a long moment, Snowy made her decision. Though she loved her life as a cat, she chose to sacrifice it to save everyone else. She called for Lucy and announced her choice. Lucy returned with a gentle smile. She whispered an ancient spell beneath her breath, calling upon the spirit of a fallen angel. Snowy and the angel's spirit rose into the sky, circling one another faster and faster until they became a brilliant whirl of white light. When the light finally faded, Snowy hovered in the air. She now had magnificent white wings and a glowing golden halo above her head. The demons had vanished, and peace had returned to the city. As Snowy looked around one last time, she saw Lucy high above the clouds, smiling and beckoning her forward. Snowy took one final look at the home she had saved. Then, with a peaceful heart, she spread her new wings and flew toward the heavens. A new life awaited her.
