✧ ✧ ✧ I too have fallen victim to the peak game development that is Horse Race Tests T-T A horse wins the race by being the first to reach the goal (carrots). They each move randomly, bumping off each other and the walls. There is no real skill involved. Only luck. ✧ Track Editing ✧ Press and hold anywhere on the screen to draw a path available for the horses to follow (or completely ignore). Be creative - perhaps add lots of rooms that could trap them or lots of places to bump into. Be sure to make all paths wide enough for the horses to fit. You can change the pen color by clicking the respective buttons. The horses will collide with any wall color but can move freely along track colors. ✧ Placing Finish Point ✧ Drag the carrot anywhere on the screen (preferably somewhere on the track) to set a goal for the horses to reach. ✧ Reset Track ✧ Press this button to clear the track you made and delete the finish point you placed. ✧ Modifiers ✧ Move the sliders to change the amount of horses participating in the race and how fast they move (a speed of around 4 is generally recommended). ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Art: Stock Photos / Blake Andrews (snakesandrews on X) Coding: @StarlightWolf07 Horse Race Tests is a series of videos created by Blake Andrews (snakesandrews). ------------------------------------------------------------------------- See my characters and universes here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/885992426/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
