CHAPTER TWO: Information "Zelda, come out of there. I know you're worried for Link, but nothing will come of it if you just sit in your room." My father tells me. ........ "Zel"- I SWING the door open as if my Link himself was behind it himself. "I need to see....."- I think for a moment. "Mipha. NOW!!" "Why?" My father asks. "There's no time to explain. I need to see the-...her now!" I yell impatiently "Look.... Fine, you can go but you must bring several guards with you. We have to be extra precautious." My father says "Several guards? Father, I cannot let anyone come with me on this journey. The Yiga clan knew about my ceremony. Someone here must have told them!" I state "Zelda, you are well known. Someone could have easily overheard about the ceremony. That is not a good reason to put your life in danger. Because of a chance!" My father says "It is not a chance. The ceremony was heavily guarded so that no one could come in. How did the Yiga get in? Someone let them!" I point out "....Sigh..... You make some valid points. And by doing so you have changed my mind." My father says "Thank yo-" He talks before I could finish speaking "You have changed my mind into not letting you go at all." Father says "What? No. I have to go see P-...Mipha. I have to. It's the only way to find Link!" I say "We'll send a guard." Father says "Did you not just hear our earlier conversation? There will be plenty of guards volunteering and one of them will the the traitor. or Yiga or whoever he or she is. I'm not willing to take that chance." I state it loud so that he knows I am sure and my words are true. ".........Then we'll find another way to get Link back." My father says before leaving the room. I scream in frustration. {Does he not care about Link? I can handle myself why doesn't he notice that? I have to go. I must. I must find Link. And this is my only chance.} I think to myself I decided to sneak out. Which will be extra difficult because of the recent event that has happened. First I waited until night, then I slid a note under my father's door then I started to plan. {The back is too obvious. I should sneak through the front. They'd never expect me to sneak out through there.} I think to myself My thoughts continue: {But first, I must get my horse.} *I sneak through the castle and get to the stable* {Aha, there you are. Now I have to get it to the front of the castle without making any noise. This should be interesting.} I say in my head. We get back to the castle where I pick up a rock and throw it in the opposite direction I wish to go. The guards look the that way. Then I sprint, taking my horse with me, to a tree and a small wall where I tell my horse to lay down and I hide behind the tree. Before I left the castle I asked a friend of mine inside to talk to the guards when they saw me behind that tree. I waited for a bit of time, my horse growing tired of laying there. Then suddenly I see the castle door opening. {Finally!} I think. But instead of my help, I see my father, with the note in his hand. "Oh no. I'll never get through now." I gently whisper in despair. Then my friend appears and starts to talk to the guards and my father, giving me enough time to run off. _____________________________________________ The truth is, I don't need to see Mipha. I need to see Pura and Impa. But I had a feeling that my father would not let me and I would have to go anyway so just in case I said, Mipha. That way it can at least buy me some time. The reason why is because I have no idea where the Yiga would take me. The Yiga blade master was going to take me somewhere before he took Link so they must have arrived there. Since Impa is a sheikah and the Yiga are familiar with Pura's technology, I need to ask them where they think they would take me. They're the only ones who would even have a close idea. I arrive. I step into the lair and there Impa is, holding books for Pura, barily being able to stand. "Oh, Zelda! It's wonderful to see you." Pura says "I heard what happened at the ceremony. Is everything okay?" Pura asks "Thank you, it's good to see you too. But, during the attack, Link was taken while protecting me." I say. *Gasp* "Oh Zelda, that's terrible!" Pura says as she walks over and gives me a hug. "Zelda, I'm so sorry I wasn't there, I was helping my sister. If I would have known that-" Impa starts to say but I cut her off. "It's not your fault at all Impa. How could you have known? But I do need your help finding him. You two are the only ones who would know where the Yiga might have taken me." I say "As in?" Impa asks "A Blademaster was sprinting towards me and he was going to take me somewhere. But then Link went in front of me and took my place. The Blademaster must have taken Link to where he was going to take me."
CHAPTER TWO: Information: Continued: "Not necessarily." Pura says "What do you mean?" I ask "Yiga do not prepare where they are going to teleport. As soon as he noticed that it was Link he probably took him somewhere else." Impa explains "So, where would they take him?" I ask "It's highly likely they took him to their hideout. He's probably in the dungeon as we speak." Pura says "Well, that is unless........" Pura starts to say but, doesn't finish. Most likely for my sake. .......................... I started to sob. The very idea of Link getting hurt was as painful as a spear through my heart. Impa comes over to comfort me and then gives Pura a stern look. Pura just shrugs. "*Sigh,* Don't worry Zelda, Link is strong. He would never let them hurt him." Pura tries to recover from her last sentence. "I hope you're right. But if he is there I must go now. There is no time to waste. Where is their hideout?" I say/ask "Don't worry, we'll take you." Impa says. "No, I should do this myself. This is going to be very dangerous. I don't want to put you two at risk." I say "Zelda, it is my duty to protect you. I know how the Yiga does things and how they think. I am coming. Right Pura?" Impa says "I see no reason why I should come. I only no about my-their tech and I doubt they would have any of my tech at their hideout. That is considering the condition that their hideout is in." Pura says Impa gives Pura a look. "..But, I suppose I could come as well. Just in case." Pura says. "...Okay, fine. You can come but it is a big risk. Are you two willing to take it?" I ask "For Link." Impa states "For Link!" Pura agrees. "Okay then. Off we go into......." I say but don't finish, as I am unsure as to where we are going. "The desert." Impa finishes. Pura, with a tablet in her hand, puts both her arms around me and Impa and says: "Girls trip!" END OF CHAPTER TWO ____________________________________________ If you have any questions or comments, please let me know! I would love to hear from you! :D Awesome thumbnail by: @__-Zelda-__. She did an amazing job and she volunteered! Go and give her a follow. She's awesome! This is kind of my own thing so it is not very accurate to the games. One thing is I decided to have Zelda's hair short even though it is more around the time when her hair was long. It is just a better fit for this story. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve, let me know in the comments! ;) And if you want to make suggestions on how the next chapter should go, I would love to hear your thoughts about that as well! I hope you enjoyed! First chapter: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1168822446 Next chapter : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1173124928
