I sighed, rubbing my eyes. What was it? 5am in the morning? And I couldn't go back to sleep, I trudged down to the common room to find someone already there. "Couldn't sleep either?" She asked. She had shining blonde hair up to her waist and sparkling amber eyes. "Yeah, I'm Izzy Nightingale by the way, what about you?" I asked, striking up a conversation. "I'm Rose Lane! It's nice to meet you!" She smiled. "Have anyone asked you to the ball yet? Nobody asked me." "Heh, yeah actually, Connor Andrews, he's also in Lithingo..." The pair of us were chatting about anything and everything and it almost felt like it was the good old days again when I was young, naive and didn't know anything about the world at all. * * * "When's the ball thingie again?" I asked Ashbelle, shoving my lopsided glasses back on properly. "Tomorrow, why?" "TOMORROW?!?" I yelled, almost dropping my book. "Yeah. OhHhHhHh, I get itttt," Ashbelle teased, "You- ARGHH, I'M SORRY IZZY, AGGHHHH-" Ashbelle squeaked, struggling from my sudden attack. "You deserve it." I said, glaring at her as she gathered herself up and ruffled her dishevelled robes. "No I don't- I mean, Sorry!" She yelped, my d3@th stare wiping the innocent smile of her face. Just as I felt like str@ngl!ng Ash again, Anne 'Conveniently' came in "Hey guys! What's going on h- You know what, ima just quickly leave, sorry for bothering you." * * * "Izzyyyy, pleaseee!!" "Ash, I already told you, I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE MY GLASSES OFF!" "Why thoughh?" "None of your beeswax!" Ash sighed dramatically, "Fine! I'll take them off." I groaned, Nobody could resist Ash's Puppy eyes. "Yayy!" She cheered, "Take it off now!" I felt this queasy feeling inside of me, was this really a wise decision? I ignored that thought and swallowed nervously. "What are you waiting for? We have class in a few minutes!" Ash said impatiently, twirling her hair around her finger. I took a deep breath. "Alright, alright, I'll take it off." I sighed
