After production of K-90 (KM-88, I am working on a revamp) tanks halted in 2001 following the 2001 Naidunese recession, 200 fire control systems were unused. Alongside an already planned upgrade to the KM-22 platform, 100 FCS were implemented alongside an upgraded turret and hull. About 100 KM-22s were upgraded to this standard.
