⤷ roleplayer introduction - Howdy hey, I’m Wylie and I use all pronouns! I haven't been part of TFCRP in a loooong while, and I’m hopeful about getting back into it! I’m a big fan of Nintendo games like splatoon, kirby, and animal crossing. I listen to a lot of twenty one pilots, bug hunter, one ok rock, aurora, the narcissist cookbook, and pretty much any music artist that catches my attention. ⤷ roleplaying experience - Technically I’ve been roleplaying since I was very little, on animal jam. I first began roleplaying on scratch in 2020, but have taken a hiatus since around 2023 to basically get my life together. I’ve been part of the Hunger Games rp too, if that makes any difference. ⤷ activity and longevity - I admit, with previous characters I had a tendency to slowly roleplay with them less and less, but now that I’m coming back I intend to not let that happen again. I plan to devote the time to this character that they deserve ⤷ current and past tfcrp characters - Orchidkit would be taking up my first character slot, as I’ve not had a character in a while. In the past, my characters in TFCRP have been Winter the kittypet, Carnationbranch of RiverClan, Perchflight of WindClan, Wolfstance of WindClan, and Freezingtoil of ThunderClan. ⤷ kit you're applying for - Orchidkit, her design really speaks to me ⤷ identity - I think I would have them be pangender ⤷ personality - Orchidkit is the sort to go off and do their own thing. They know what they want to do, and by golly they will do it. They aren’t especially a rebel, they don’t want to fight authority for the sake of it, they just desire freedom to do as they wish. They aren’t the sort to push others away intentionally, but they sure don’t come across as approachable. Despite how they come across, they aren’t as sure of their identity as some may believe. They often, either intentionally or accidentally, mimic the cats they surround themself with. They tend to bury themself out of fear of being rejected. Once they’re alone, though, their true self can arise. ⤷ research - I would be interested in exploring the idea of Orchidkit having Borderline Personality Disorder; as someone who may have it myself, I’ve been researching it since I was 14 (I’m nearly 18 now), and it would be nice to spread awareness and empathy for this often misunderstood and villainized disorder. ⤷ family dynamics - Orchidkit may cling to their parents as a kit, but start to rebel and potentially hurt their family’s feelings as they start to become more withdrawn. As time passes this could be resolved, with Orchidkit becoming a sort of silent rock that does their best to keep the family together through anything ⤷ plot ideas - I’d like to explore Orchidkits relationship with their gender, BPD, and therianthropy. As far as less identity-based plot lines go, potentially they could go looking for their biological parents out of curiosity? Also, I’m interested in the idea of them being a poet, writing my own poems for them to recite to others. ⤷ roleplay / writing examples - Detailed writing example: Orchidkit blinked open her eyes. The force of her siblings push and shoved her right out of the nursery on her back. The sky was so… huge. So blue, /beyond/ blue. Orchidkit wanted to fly up into it and never come down. The smell of flowers reached her nose, and her eyes closed again as she breathed in deeply. This was home. Simple, more typical roleplaying example: Orchidpaw turned her head to stare at her mentor. “But… Birds, I… I can’t eat them. I can’t hunt them…” There was something so familiar about them, she just… couldn’t. ⤷ trivia - Songs: Pinecones by Bug Hunter, The Hype by twenty one pilots, The Simplest Words by The Narcissist Cookbook MBTI Type: ISFP - The Adventurer/Composer Therianthropy: I think it would be interesting if Orchidkit is a hummingbird therian. Basically, a therian is someone who believes or feels that they are an animal in some way, whether that be spiritual, psychological, or someway else. This could bring interest to Orchidkits connection to flowers, and also have interesting moments where they refuse to eat any sort of birds.
