"For thousands of years, the tribes of Cliopathia have fought each other. The many kings and queens, fighting over control of their own realms and Cliopathia as a whole. But, among all of the kings, queens. Emperors and empresses, one man stood out. The great king of the reef tribes cooperated with the humans who crashed here long ago to gain much technological and strategic information, set out to unify Cliopathia under a age of peace and harmony. After a hundred years, the great king would unify the planet under a confederation, and Cliopathia's golden age began. And much technological advancements such as landing the first Cliopathian on the 3rd moon. But it was not to last, for every great king there is a terrible one..... The great prince, raised by opportunists advisers and monks instead of his father who was too busy being a great king, he would run Cliopathia into the ground after seecedig his father. The corrupt monks, ministers, and advisers who raised him stole the people's wealth, stole their belongings and even food. The prince would go as far as to destroy the heart of Cliopathia itself, for the religious order that guarded questioned his actions and predicted evil deeds to come. It was the final straw, and civil war broke out, between the traditionalist Cliopathians who worshipped the heart, and the technological worshipping and more atheist forces of the prince. With advanced technology unlike anything in Cliopathia's history, and much of the army on his side. The prince defeated the rebels after many atrocities by both sides. Coming out of the war with more power than ever, the prince demolished the confederacy and declared The 1st Cliopathian Empire, but in order to solidify his rule over the already unstable nation, he needed another war.... A common enemy for the Cliopathians to hate... So he would provoke war with the humans, who were still waiting to be reunited with their homeworld. He would begin strip mining the very lands the humans needed to just exist, replacing the land with more sea and using the minerals to grow his armies. He would go on to stoke anti air breathers feelings among Cliopathia. War would soon break out, with the air breathers holding out at first due to Cliopathia unable to wage land warfare, but over time.... The Cliopathians adapted, building special vieacles able to engage the air breathers in their realm. Years and years go by, and the air breathers are slowly pushed back against the wall. Slowly the once beautiful land masses of Cliopathia shrunk and shrunk. Until the humans barely had anything left, and are fighting for their very right to exist...."
Cliopathia is a earth-like planet populated by a mermaid like species in the seas, rivers, and lakes. While the humans(who came from a colonial transport ship that crashed on the planet long ago) populate the land.
