ITS OUR MONTH FINALLY :’000 Happy pride month to all the wonderful queer people out here!!! I decided to draw Chappell because I absolutely ADORE her she’s my icon, specifically drew her tiny desk outfit cause i was gonna wear this for Halloween but got to lazyyy </3 You can’t see much of the detail cause of scratch’s horrid pixel problem but I hope you all enjoy it!! I’m especially proud of the hands, I’ve been getting more comfortable with dynamic poses and such ^>^
if I can tell one thing to queer people it would definitely be to always stay true to your genuine self! I generally label myself as queer because im still exploring my own identity as I grow older, but there was a time where i pushed all aspects of being in the lgbt community away, as i felt I couldn’t relate to anyone and felt as if all the people i knew “weren’t gay anymore”, (which in my opinion is lowk insane) When I discovered Chappell, my whole perspective changed seeing someone so open about who they are and expressing themselves freely. I’ve been on a journey to be more open about my identity to myself and to others around me, as hiding ultimately does more harm than good. self expression is a powerful force that when shown confidently ultimately led me to establish an amazing group of unapologetic lay queer friends, therefore solving my queer experience in feeling not related to and scared to be my true self!! To summarize my yap, you have nothing to lose by being yourself, and should celebrate with joy and pride whenever you can <3333 Art: me!
