Transcript (for mobile users) The longer I stare, the more my stomach churns as I remember what our country used to be indivisible, beautiful, free the lines of red and white mean nothing to you a face I once loved, the one I praised the one I thought would make our country great but as you stand on the podium today you shatter the dreams and hearts of millions of americans your face is unfamiliar one of a stranger one of an outsider not one of us your eyes are sharp with danger your soul peirced with the love of fame your name echos in the wells of hatred you think it's all a game, that you can control us that you can decieve us that you can understand us for we are not one to be controlled you sacrifice us your hands work in wicked ways your heart black with grains of hell you spit on the graves of pride you forbid love you forbid people to be people you won't let us live pride is more than a sexuality it's in our hearts our minds our souls with every breath we take we inhale the love of others with every breath we exhale we extend out grace and this is how we're repayed with hatred with death if only we could be the way we used to be inclusive beautiful accepting if only you were brave enough to see it if only you were brave enough to feel it if only you were brave enough... to be it. thank you.
