Welcome back to the IMagic series of projects! My last project was teleFoto, whic allowed you to see THROUGH a persons eyes to reveal a random image that they were thinking of. That one was pretty complicated, plus it involved a lot of memory. So here we have my latest trick, ICompass! This is an amazingly impossible yet simple effect in which a person places an object at any point at all around the compass, you click the 'point to it' button, and the compass will impossibly point to it! How to perform: 1) Ask a spectator to come up and bring with them a random small object such as a coin or ring. 2) Have them stand to the side of the monitor/laptop screen and hold the object at any point on a compass axis, for example north east. 3) Now to get the compass to point to the object, it depends on where you click the button. If you click the P on point, it will point upwards. the O and it will point between up and right. Etcetera etcetera, rotating clockwise around the compass. (NOTE: The last I and T do the same thing; point between left and up) 4) Allow the compass to spin and point to the object. Congrats! The impossible just became possible.
Here are the two links you need to perform teleFoto; Instructions: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/116831851/ Project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/116831851/ I was inspired by the 'Magic Compass' trick on the app store. It costs money, so I didn't download it, but made a scratch version instead.
