This is the start of a genetic algorithm GA I am making with Owen Mr.Gigabyte. It looks easy now because we only have two speeds and to colors. But maybe we could add more characteristics and more values for those (a squirrel with polka dots?) and a weird fitness function where we'd really have to run the program to know what the best kinds of squirrels are. The next step is to define the "fitness function" which will score each of our squirrels -- indicating how fit they are for survival. We could even animate this program by placing 100 squirrels of the four kinds on the screen!
